House rules

For the duration of your stay we place our home in your care. We want our guests to feel free and comfortable. We do ask, however, that you observe a few small rules.

Smoking is strictly
prohibited throughout the house.

The barbecue may only be lit
in the designated place

Fire must be handled with particular care inside the house and on the grounds

Please keep reasonably quiet, out of respect for the animals living in the forest

Pets are welcome at Skromny Las. Please let us know about them in advance.

The remaining terms and conditions:

  1. After booking a stay at Skromny Las, the Guest is required to pay a deposit of 50% of the total price within 48 hours.
  2. If the booking is cancelled 30 days or more before arrival, the deposit is refunded in full.
  3. For bookings made through travel portals, cancellation is handled according to the terms set by those portals.
  4. Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is at 10:00*. A later check-out is possible if the booking calendar allows it. *During the pandemic we need a full day to disinfect the house.
  5. The Guest bears financial responsibility for any damage caused during the stay. A charge of 150% of the value of the damaged property must be settled no later than on the day of departure.
  6. Guests pay a refundable deposit of PLN 500, which is returned on the day of departure provided no damage has occurred.
  7. Where the damage exceeds the amount of the deposit, Guests will be held liable under civil law.
  8. Free unguarded parking is included at Skromny Las.
  9. Waste separation is required.
  10. The house and the grounds are monitored. During the Guests’ stay the cameras inside the house are switched off. The outdoor monitoring remains on in order to protect the property.
  11. Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the house.
  12. Fire must be handled with particular care inside the house and on the grounds. A smouldering fire must never be left unattended, and cigarette butts must not be thrown onto the forest floor.
  13. The fireplace must be used only as intended. Take particular care with sparks falling out of the fireplace when adding wood. The glass must always remain closed while the fire is burning. Only wood prepared by the owner may be burned in the fireplace.
  14. Guests are required to clean up after their dogs on the grounds.
  15. The water in the house has a high magnesium and iron content and is non-potable. It must not be consumed.

  17. By making a booking, the Guest consents to their personal data being stored in our database. This data will be processed solely for the purpose of handling the booking, making future bookings easier, and for marketing purposes (occasional updates about how Skromny Las is developing).
